Currently, the population of the United States of America is 305,243,495 people. This includes men, women and children. http://www.census.gov/population/www/popclockus.html
According to Wikipedia, of those 305 million people there are an estimated 138 million tax filers. Of those 138 million filers, 1/3 pay zero ($0.00) in taxes. That leaves 93 million tax payers floating the finances of these United States.

OK, now for the interesting math. The Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson is running a 700 billion dollar bail out for financial institutions (banks) that have ran themselves into the dirt. The math is ($700 billion) 700,000,000,000 dollars divided by (93 million) 93,000,000 people (tax payers).

This works out to $7526.88 from each tax paying American citizen, so that Wall Street can continue blowing money like there is no tomorrow.

Do your wallets feel lighter? Do you have $7526.88 to give Wall Street?

OK Folks, here is an update. According to the information I have found, the bail out has cost us 3.5 Trillion so far. That is well above the 700 billion dollars first estimated by these thieves. Time to redo the math.

3.5 Trillion is $3,500,000,000,000 divided by the same 93 million (93,000,000) people, we each get stuck with a $37,634 bill for each tax payer.

Some have estimated that the costs have run as high as $8.5 Trillion! This would leave us with a whopping $91,397 per tax payer bill to pay just for these fat cat bail outs!

Remember, Obama inherited this from G. W. Bush, but he has done nothing to rectify the situation. In contrast, he has kept the same policies of spoon feeding big business our funds with a back hoe!

Thanks a Trillion assholes!

I found this information last night. I double checked the figures, and most are reasonably accurate. It is mind boggling what this 'Bail Out' has cost the American tax payer. Thus far, the taxes haven't caught up to us, but the clock is ticking.
Thus far we have paid over 3000 Billion to corrupt bankers and Wall Street thugs. In comparison, in today's dollars, the entire Martial Plan to rebuild Europe after WWII was only a measly 115 Billion Dollars.
